Kickstart scheme
We are pleased to announce that Academic & Professional Research Centre of Britain (APRC) has been approved as a Kickstart Gateway Organisation to brigade your vacancies with others in London areas and begin the bid process on your behalf. We deliver this project under Kickstart Jobs UK to help SMEs and SMPs.
We have been checked by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) using the Cabinet Office Spotlight Tools. Please find our details and information about next steps by clicking on the link below:

Kickstart Jobs UK will manage and deliver this mandatory employability support on your behalf. This costs us £1000 to deliver. We will pass on £500 of the grant funding for helping that young person for 6 months with other on-costs you might face.
As your Kickstart gateway, we will support you in the following ways. There is no charge to you as this is covered by government funding. We will take you through the whole journey and make it as easy as possible for you being the employer.

Provide guidance
We’re aware that you’re busy. From the moment you submit your interest in the services, we guide you through the application and deal with the Jobcentre on your behalf.
Financial support
Full wages paid – The Government pays the wages of the young person at National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week.
National Insurance – Eligible employer NI contributions.
You can include that young person under your existing payroll system. If you have not yet set-up PAYE under your company, we are happy to help you set-up PAYE, process monthly payroll, issue payslip and submit to HMRC for RTI compliance and reimburse the amount from the Government.
Provide skills training support
Provide £1,500 worth of exceptional employability support to the young person to help them settle in your organization and progress in life.
Additional Free Courses
Once you successfully employ young people through us under the ‘Kickstart Scheme’ they will be eligible for our free short courses which will provide free training to develop their skills, experiences, and career progression.
